Hey my lovelies. Hope everyone has had a happy Monday so far!
Today’s blogpost is a tad different compared to some of my previous fashion posts. I normally love keeping my photos quite clean and bright however this week we are going for a more grungy urban effect. If you follow me on instagram you might have seen that I have been working with a great clothing brand called God Like Apparel recently. They are an edgy kind of street wear brand that at the moment mainly specialise in tees but are looking to expand their range to cover most fashion items.

“God like apparel was born through a passion for the London urban and street art scene”. So to stay within keeping of what God Like encapsulates in it’s style I decided to hit the streets of Bristol with my little sister and snap up some shots down by the Harbour. What I loved the most about working with this brand was the ability to capture a side of my style that I don’t often get to show on my blog. As I’ve said before I have an incredibly variable sense of fashion however this is the first time I have got to show a bit more of my love for street style on my blog.

I was lucky enough to choose two items from God Like and decided upon a long sleeved white shirt and this short sleeved black tee! For this outfit I tried to create a bit of a streetwear look and added some black ripped skinny jeans and my totally overworn BOY london flat peak. With a vintage Levis oversized jacket thrown over the top and a pair of Nike Airforces on my feet I felt ready to hit the streets of Bristol with this laid back almost Skate style look. It was pretty freezing cold outside though so for a little added warmth I added my Adidas turtleneck shirt underneath the tee for that extra layer of cosiness.

What I love about this brand is just how simple yet completely edgey it is. The logo is well styled and nicely placed on the shirt and the quality of the clothing is fantastic for the price! These items are so easy to wear and style and looks great for every day wearing out and about. I have had so many compliments on both my shirts so far so I am really chuffed for the brand that so many people already are impressed with their designs.

I was hoping to do a post on my trip to Bristol as it really was such an amazing visit full of seeing plenty of graffiti, huge shopping centres and quirky as hell bars. Unfortunately I have still not managed to find that perfect balance yet of having a good time AND capturing it all on camera as I do it. All I can say is, if you’re ever in the vicinity of Bristol, make sure you take a look around because it’s a city FULL of wonders!
