Merry Christmas!
Heyyy guys. Long time no see. With the chaos of Christmas whipping up a storm around us, it seems I found myself quite absent from the blogosphere recently! TBH though what better time than the festive period to have a little break from blogging! I hope everyone had a lovely Crimbo themselves!
Before we finish up the year however it’s time for a quick festive themed post based on an event I went to this December down in Finsbury Square, London. The beautiful ladies over at Soeurs De Luxe had put together a fabulous Christmas event for bloggers to attend this December month. Held at a beautifully decorated and perfectly festive pub in the heart of London, the event was created with the aim of bloggers getting into the festive spirit together whilst also getting to meet and introduce themselves to some UK based brands. Everyone came away with a goodie bag packed to the nines with products perfect for us blogging babes! So let’s have a look at what’s inside…

First up was this super cute little pad from Type the Hype which is designed for jotting down all your best blogging ideas. Packed with over a hundred pages, I have found this pad so helpful towards my blog planning as it’s a great way of keeping on top of your posting schedule. I can imagine if I ever get organised enough to partake in Blogmas next year this will be perfect for tracking your daily uploads! If you haven’t heard of Type the Hype before click the link and head over to their site now! Essentially they are an outreach programme to help brands find bloggers they want to work with over collabs and reviews. This is an amazing helping hand for people who are interested in producing plenty of content for their blogs, especially as one of TTH’s recent brands was the one and only Missguided!!

I have been after this palette for a while now so when I opened up my goodie bag I was beyond impressed to find this in there. A much cheaper dupe of the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palettes, this little number is filled with matte and shimmer shades bursting with colour and a delicious chocolate smell too! I will probably do a much more detail review on this palette but for now I will just say that it does not disappoint!

This little bad boy has become a huge part of my daily skincare routine! With a gorgeous fresh scent of blackberries which I find really refreshing for my morning routine in particular, this serum is perfect for combating those dry skin days some of us tend to suffer in the Winter. It leaves my face feeling quite dewy and soft in the morning which then creates a perfect base for applying my makeup that day. The little pump applicator as well is super handy as you just need one quick squeeze which will provide plenty of coverage for your entire face.

Now this is not the first time I have encountered this wonder hand cream and I am actually quickly approaching the end of my second tube already!! Whilst at the Beauty Bloggers Award this year at Olympia, London I met the brand and had a great chat with them about the many benefits this repair cream has. The product itself has no fragrance but is filled with  plenty of nourishing goodies such as almond oil and shea butter which leaves your hands feeling incredibly soft. I have old scar tissue on my left hand so using this cream daily has really helped stop that tissue from getting hard in these winter months!

Last up is this super cute hair band which is designed to reduce breakage on your hair and also makes a very nice little wrist accessory! This is a relatively new brand created by two girls who were looking to improve the look of the standard hair tie. They created this well styled little number which is definitley a lot savvier than your classic hair tie and have many different styles available! This is perfect for me as quite often when I look back on OOTD pictures I’ve taken for my blog I will often spot an ugly little hair tie sitting on my wrist and be like – damn it Tash why didn’t you remember to take that off. Now my problems are definitley solved with this much classier looking tie!

Has anyone else tried any of these products, what are your thoughts?
