Cafe Hopping in Shoreditch

Bonsoir my loves.

Wow it’s been a little while since the last post. I feel I find myself in a constant loop of going to write a blog post and opening it with an apology about why I haven’t posted in a while. I realise that time isn’t a luxury for most people though, so there’s often a mutual understanding in this community that there is no need to apologise. Balancing a full time career, blog, social media and most importantly taking time to be social AND relax is time consuming. So learning to stop apologising is something I’m working on, because tbh, all I want to do is just enjoy maself.

In the vain of enjoying life with a little less guilt and a little more carefree attitude, I took a day off work last week to enjoy a day trip down to London with my gals Jessica and Chloe. We did a little work, enjoyed good food, savoured each others company and also took a few too many trips to caute coffee shops which resulted in me having a caffeine come down and feeling an almighty wave of sickness on the train back home.

In fact, we visited so many great little food and drink spots that day. Here’s a link to them all in case you need some good spots to visit whilst in Shoreditch (a favourite haunt of ours as it’s only a 5 minute walk from Liverpool Street) Modern Society Cafe, Andina, Ace Hotel, Essential Vegan Cafe & The Electric Cinema. You can probably see now why I suffered so much on my train journey home.

Finally, let me take a moment to talk about the most perfect handbag to grace my winter wardrobe and I’m sure a bag that will go on to be a longstanding favourite in my collection for years to come. Faux animal print is very on trend right now, therefore this red faux croc design is not only right on time (are you singing Black Box in your head rn?) but also has a classic look which will ensure it will comfortably establish itself as a great staple handbag to wear anytime!
